                  Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act
                                   

 

The Pickens county Board of Education continues to remain in compliance with EPA's Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act of 1986.  The school system has conducted three year re-inspections in accordance with the AHERA Act in march of 2007.  Six month periodic surveillance and training of new employees will continue.
